my old backpack is now a shoulder bag

I saw this colorful backpack with many colorful dots in a stall at the mall. I told my husband that I liked the bag. He just nodded and then we went home. When my birthday came I was stunned to receive a package from my husband. It was the backpack that I saw at the mall together with a sling bag, cell phone pouch and a slim pouch. I was so happy, he gave me the whole set.

Two years had passed and my backpack’s zipper was already worn out. I got tired of the backpack but I still loved the design, so I decided to change it into a shoulder bag instead. Take note: I did the sewing by hand, haha! It took me three days to finish the bag. I also made use of the excess fabric material and made a zip-around wallet and a coin purse.
